About eGFR
The estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) calculates how well your kidneys are filtering blood. This calculator uses the CKD-EPI formula which is recommended by clinical guidelines.
eGFR Categories
- ≥90: Normal kidney function
- 60-89: Mildly reduced kidney function
- 30-59: Moderately reduced kidney function
- 15-29: Severely reduced kidney function
- <15: Kidney failure
