About the SOFA Score

The Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score is used to track a patient's status during the stay in an intensive care unit (ICU) to determine the extent of a person's organ function or rate of failure.

Interpretation: Higher SOFA scores are associated with higher probability of mortality.
